NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Regional Head Office (Sapporo City Atsubetsu-ku, Regional Head Office president: Yuki Yamamoto) has been proceeding with construction, between the Do-O Expressway Ochibe Interchange (IC) and the Yakumo IC, and between the Doto Expressway Shimukappu IC and the Tomamu IC. We would like to inform you that the following campaign will be held to commemorate the opening of the section.
1 Campaign content
1. Opening commemorative gift campaign
Opening notice leaflets or official postcards between the Do-O Expressway Ochibe IC and Yakumo IC, which will open on October 10, 2009, and the Doto Expressway Shimukappu IC and Tomamu IC, which will open on October 24, 2009 If you apply, you will receive the following prizes by lottery. 2 Other information
(1) Change of payment method for Doto Expressway
Doto Expressway, prior to the opening of the Shimukappu IC-Tomamu IC, the payment method for the charges between the Tomamu IC-Ikeda IC will be changed from midnight October 19, 2009 (Monday).
Until now, you would have to pay at the first toll booth, but after the change, you will be required to collect a ticket at the entrance and pay at the exit toll booth.
- If you are traveling between Ikeda IC and Honbetsu IC/Ashiro IC, you do not need to collect a toll ticket and pay at Ikeda IC.
- We will set up toll booths at Tomamu IC and Otofuke Obihiro IC. Tokachi Shimizu Main Tollgate will be removed.
- Ikeda IC has a structure where the entrance gate is divided into "Kushiro/Kitami direction" and "Sapporo/Obihiro direction" by destination direction. Please be careful not to make a mistake when entering the gate. Attachment 1 [PDF: 137KB]
- The Ikeda Main Line Toll Gate will issue a toll ticket on the In-bound line heading for Sapporo/Obihiro. Please pay the fee for the Out-bound line to Kushiro/Kitami.
(2) ETC lane operation started on all Doto Expressway lines
From 11:00 am on Thursday, October 22, 2009, ETC lanes will start operating at all toll gates between the Doto Expressway Tomamu IC and the Honbetsu IC / Ashoro IC. With the start of this operation, ETC will be available on all lines of the Doto Expressway.
- The Ikeda Main Line toll gate has an ETC lane, but due to construction work such as system adjustments due to the introduction of ETC to all Doto Expressway, October 13th, 2009 (Tuesday) 11:00 am to October 22nd (Thursday) The ETC lane will be closed until 11am.
