Starting Saturday, April 6 2024, East Nippon Expressway Co., Ltd., Central Expressway Company Limited, West Expressway Company Limited (hereinafter referred to as the "Three NEXCO Companies"), and Miyagi Prefectural Road Public Corporation will implement a "Fixed Rate Motorcycle Discount" that will provide a fixed rate discount on tolls for ETC motorcycles that use Expressway managed by the Three NEXCO Companies and Miyagi Prefectural Road Public Corporation on weekends and holidays.
This discount was first implemented in 2022 with the aim of stimulating touring demand on weekends and holidays when tourists are most likely to visit, promoting the use of motorcycles and revitalizing the local area, and has been very well received.
In 2024, the distance of travel that is eligible for discounts has been revised from over 100 km to over 80 km in a single trip between interchanges.
By making this discount available to more customers, we hope to contribute to promoting motorcycle use and tourism throughout the country.
Please note that you will need to apply online before using the service. You can apply even just before your trip, taking into account the weather on the day. Also, starting from 2024, if you plan to use the service for two (or three) consecutive days, you can apply all at once, so please feel free to use this service.

1. 1. Discount target date

2024 Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from April 6 (Sat) to November 30 (Sat), when requested prior to use.

• Within Hokkaido, 2024 will run from April 6 (Sat) to October 27 (Sun).

• The roads that are not eligible for the discount are as follows.
  Daisan-Keihin Road, Yokohama-Shindo Road, Yokohama Yokosuka Road, Daini Hanna Road, Daini Shinmei Road, Kanmon Tunnel, Okinawa Road, Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway. However, the Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway does not apply the motorcycle fixed rate discount, but it is included in the judgment of mileage.

Four. Discount details

37.5% discount for driving on eligible roads where the distance traveled between each interchange exceeds 80km.

• In principle, one trip refers to driving on Expressway from the entrance to the exit without running off the highway (including when passing through main line toll gates, etc.). However, if you transfer to a target road via a specific interchange or tollgate (hereinafter referred to as an "interchange, etc.") or a new directly controlled section, it will be treated as one trip and the distance traveled on each target road will be added up. • If there are multiple routes between the interchanges you use, the cheapest fare will be applied, so the discount will be determined based on the distance of the shortest route, not the actual mileage. Please check the distance used to determine the discount on the "distance and fee search site" before using.

Five. How to apply, etc.

Applications will begin at 2:00 p.m. on 2024.
Please register as a member at NEXCO CENTRAL "Hayatabi" service, where you will make your application, and then enter the date of use, ETC card information, ETC on-board unit control number, etc., and apply before using the service.

• If you have already registered as a member, you do not need to register again.
• ETC corporate card is not subject to membership registration and usage application.
• Discounts are also available if the road flows into the target road the day before the date of use and flows out on the day of use, or if it flows into the target road on the day of use and flows out the day after the day of use.

• If your usage meets the application requirements for holiday discounts and late-night discounts, the lowest discount after discount will be applied.
• Discounts apply to all trips that exceed 80km (it is not determined based on the total distance traveled on the day of use).
• Please use the target road with a motorcycle equipped with the ETC card and ETC on-board unit registered at the time of application. If you use a motorcycle with an ETC card or ETC on-board unit that is different from the one you registered, you will be required to pay the regular rate (if the ETC time zone discount is applied, the discounted rate).
• Unlike cars, motorcycles are easily affected by the weather such as wind and rain, and there is nothing to protect the body in the event of an accident, so even a small accident can lead to a serious accident. Before using the Expressway, please check the weather forecast and cooperate for a safe and comfortable drive.
