East Nippon Expressway Co., Ltd.
NEXCO EAST (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) has decided on 7 companies selected for Phase II of the accelerator program "DraPla Innovation Lab" recruited from August 1st to October 3rd, 2022. We received 92 applications, exceeding last year's first term. We will continue to study further toward the creation of new value.

In order to create "new value" for Expressway services and connect them to the Expressway of the future, through the "DraPla Innovation Lab", customers using the Expressway, including those of these co-creation partner companies, and local residents I would like to work with other people.

What is DraPla Innovation Lab?
"DraPla Innovation Lab" is a part of NEXCO EAST 's open innovation, co-creation with startups, etc., contributing to solving company or regional issues using new technologies and services, We aim to improve comfort and convenience, and by utilizing the results not only on Expressway but also in the real world, we aim to widely return the results.
Recruitment started in 2021 as the first accelerator program in Japan by an Expressway company, and five companies were selected for Phase I, and demonstration experiments are underway.
The NEXCO EAST Group has positioned the period from 2021 to 2025 as "a period that contributes to the achievement of the SDGs and transforms into a new future society," and is making various efforts.
We believe that this" DraPla Innovation Lab" initiative will contribute to the SDGs goals No. 8 and No. 17 as business activities that lead to co-creation and social implementation of new services and products with partner companies. ..
