NEXCO EAST (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) will start recruiting second-term partner companies for the accelerator program "DraPla Innovation Lab" (hereinafter referred to as "this program") from August 1, 2022.

1. 1. Background of program implementation

Until now, we have pursued "safety, security, comfort and convenience" for our customers and supported the movement of "people" and "things" as a company responsible for infrastructure that "connects" regions. In recent years, with the evolution of technology and the diversification of values in society, we also believe that we need to bring new "value" in the movement of "people" and "things" and contribute to the realization of a sustainable society. Toward the creation and realization of new Expressway services, we aim to Expressway transformation through co-creation with business partners who aim to grow significantly in various business fields and our company, which has many strengths. has started an accelerator program. With the strong driving force of our young employees, including the five companies that were selected for the first time, we are developing demonstration experiments for the realization of new services.

2. Program contents

This program is a co-creation partner who has new technology and innovative business ideas and is enthusiastic about innovation for future Expressway services, and our Expressway, service areas and parking areas (hereinafter referred to as " , SA / PA), etc., while utilizing resources and verification budgets, etc., we aim to solve social issues and implement services and products that bring "new value" to the movement of people, goods, and things. ..

3. 3. Recruitment theme

This program is looking for co-creation partners on the following four themes.

1. Update the movement of "humans" and "things"
   NEXCO EAST Expressway, which is 3,943 km from Hokkaido to Kanto and is used by about 2.74 million vehicles a day. In a society where drones and autonomous driving are commonplace, we will redefine "safety and security" and "comfort and convenience" to improve the value provided in the movement of people and goods.

2. Improving the value of SA / PA and creating new customer experiences
   SA / PA as a place of relaxation for Expressway users in 328 locations in the eastern Japan area. We will provide a new customer experience through the use of technology and solutions, and enhance the value of SA / PA more than it has existed as a "resting place".

3. Creating and disseminating regional appeal with SA / PA as a hub
