NEXCO EAST (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) has compiled a forecast of traffic congestion on the Expressway during the Obon period [Wednesday, August 10, 4th to Tuesday, August 16th: 7 days]. ..

1. 1. Overview of traffic jam forecast
◆ Time zones and peak days when traffic jams occur
- On the Out-bound side, traffic congestion is expected to occur frequently on August 11th (Thursday) and 13th (Saturday).
- On the In-bound side, traffic congestion is expected to occur frequently on August 14th (Sun) and 15th (Mon).
