4 Request for relief of traffic congestion
A little effort from customers will help alleviate traffic congestion. Thank you for your cooperation.
- In-bound attention to the rate of decrease in the slope
In-bound in a place that is alerting the slowdown, such as slope, for your cooperation to speed recovery! - Do not reduce the distance between vehicles too much
Ensure sufficient inter-vehicle distance so that you do not press the brakes while driving! - Do not change lanes
Excessive lane changes during traffic jams will worsen traffic congestion! - For those who drive vehicles equipped with ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control)
Use it in the driving lane! When traffic is congested, quickly follow the "Vehicle distance: short (S mode)" setting!
- ACC is a system in which a radar installed in front of the vehicle measures the distance to the preceding vehicle and maintains a constant distance according to the speed. There is a possibility that congestion can be alleviated by making good use of ACC.
