NEXCO EAST (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) has summarized traffic congestion prediction and countermeasures due to traffic congestion during the Golden Week period (Saturday, April 25, 2015 to Wednesday, May 6, 2015: 12 days).
1 Request for distributed use
- This traffic congestion forecast is based on the past traffic conditions such as Golden Week, Obon and the year-end and New Year holidays.
- The number of traffic congestions during the Golden Week period is 115 times over 10km, which is an increase of 13 times from 102 times in the previous year.
- Concerning the tendency of congestion during the Golden Week period, it is predicted that there will be a lot of congestion on the Out-bound line on May 2 (Sat) and 3 (Sun), and on the In-bound line on May 4 (Mon) and 5 (Tue). I am. (The traffic congestion tendency is as shown below)
