NEXCO EAST Kanto Regional Head Office (Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture) will conduct site tours ("Tours") of disaster prevention sites for related organizations at E4 Tohoku Expressway (" Tohoku Expressway") and Hasuda Service Area ("SA") (" In-bound line").

　本見学会は、防災拠点として整備している東北道　蓮田SA（上り線）について、災害発生時の効果的な機能の発揮のため、関係機関が設備や運用に係る理解を深めることを目的としたものです。

The tour will be held in an open rest facility, so we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and ask for your understanding and cooperation.

Please note that there may be some restrictions on the use of parking spaces in order to accommodate the vehicles of participating organizations.

(2) Date and time: Wednesday, October 9th, 9:30am-5:30pm

*In the event of bad weather, the event will be postponed to the backup date.

In response to the fact that rest facilities on Expressway were used as assembly points and relay points for related organizations such as the Self-Defense Forces and fire departments during the Great East Japan Earthquake, NEXCO EAST has developed rest facilities with functions that can be used by related organizations in the event of a disaster, and is operating them as disaster prevention bases.
