NEXCO EAST Kanto Regional Head Office (Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture) will hold a "Special Expressway Experience Event in Takasaki" in Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture on Tuesday, August 6, 2024.
We would like to inform you that we are looking for people who wish to participate on the day.

What is the "Special Expressway Experience Event in Takasaki"?

This event is aimed at elementary school students, who will be future Expressway users, and is held during the summer holidays to give them a special experience of the world of Expressway that they normally cannot see. Various events will be held, such as experiencing Expressway management technology and touring the "working vehicles" that are in use on Expressway.

Overview of "Special Expressway Experience in Takasaki"

①Date Tuesday, August 6, 2024 Two sessions in total: one in the morning and one in the afternoon
②Venue
  • NEXCO East Japan Engineering Technical Training Center
  • NEXCO EAST Takasaki Management Office (inside Takasaki IC Kan-Etsu Expressway)
③Participation fee Free (Participants are responsible for transportation expenses before meeting and after dissolution.)
④ Gathering JR Takasaki Station East Exit
(Morning course: Meet at 9:00, Afternoon course: Meet at 14:00)
⑤Itinerary
(Morning and Afternoon)
(Meeting place) JR Takasaki Station East Exit
→ Technical Training Center (experience Expressway management techniques, etc.)
→ Takasaki Management Office (visiting vehicles working on Expressway, etc.)
→ (Disband) JR Takasaki Station East Exit
  • Note 1) Transportation (chartered bus) from the meeting point to the dismissal point will be provided by the organizer.
  • Note 2) The entire course is expected to take approximately 3 to 4 hours.
⑥ Capacity of each course
(In the case of a large number of applications, a lottery will be held.)
30 groups, approximately 60 people (15 groups each in the morning and afternoon)
  • Note 3) Applications are limited to one child (grades 3-6) and one adult, or two children (grades 3-6) and one adult.

⑨ Important points to note Please note that the contents may be changed or canceled due to bad weather.
