On September 11th (Monday), due to the fact that the Niigata Prefectural Police will conduct a live inspection of the traffic accident, the following is the E8 Hokuriku Expressway (In-bound line) Kashiwazaki Kashiwazaki Interchange (IC) ⇒ Yoneyama Yoneyama Interchange (IC) will be closed to traffic.
We apologize for the inconvenience and ask for your understanding and cooperation.

1. Closed section and date and time

2. Date and time:
   September 11, 2020 (Monday) 14:00-16:00 (about 2 hours)
   • The end time will vary depending on the progress of the accident review.
   • In case of bad weather, it will be postponed to a later date. We will inform you of the schedule after the postponement.
   • It may be crowded at the Kashiwazaki IC exit. If you are in a hurry to get to the Kashiwazaki city area, get off at Nishiyama IC and use National Route 116 and National Route 8. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation.

2. Detour

Please use Route 8 as a detour.

3. Regarding transit fare adjustment due to road closures

For customers who temporarily flow out of Expressway due to road closures, detour around the closed section, re-enter and transfer in the forward direction, we will implement a "transfer charge adjustment" that adjusts the toll according to the section used.
