The Yuni Parking Area (PA), Shimukappu PA, and Tokachiheigen Service Area are being operated by stores that are members of the Doto Expressway Central District Cooperation Council and Doto Expressway Tokachi Cooperation Council to further enhance customer service. Special booths will be set up at 3 rest facilities (6 above and below) in (SA), selling light meals and local specialty products, and providing local tourist information for a limited time.

NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Regional Head Office is a joint project between Hokkaido and the Hokkaido Tourism Promotion Organization with the aim of supporting the tourism industry in various parts of Hokkaido that has been hit by Large of new coronavirus infections and restoring tourism demand. NEXCO EAST Group positions the period from 2021 to 2025 as "a period to contribute to the achievement of SDGs and transform toward a new future society", and is conducting various initiatives.
