NEXCO EAST Kitakami Management Office (Kitakami City, Iwate Prefecture) will carry out pavement work for the Tohoku Expressway Maesawa Service Area (SA) (upper and lower lines) in order to use safer and more comfortable rest facilities.
In addition, Commercial facilities, toilets, and gas stations can be used during the construction period.

- Construction will not be performed on Sundays, national holidays, and December 26, 2016 (Monday) to January 5, 2017 (Thursday).
- The sidewalk section will continue to enforce regulations during the day and night.
3 construction time
Every day from Monday to Saturday from 7:00 to 17:00
- The parking lot will have up to 10 parking spaces reduced from normal times.
4 Construction details
We will carry out pavement work for sidewalks, road marking work for parking lots (parking mass, lane markings), and island improvement work accompanying elevator installation work. During the construction period, the construction area will be divided (Steps 1 to 11) and the construction will be carried out sequentially while the construction fences, rubber cones, etc. are being regulated.
