NEXCO EAST (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) provides customers who use winter Expressway with easy-to-understand information about snowy road preparation, safe driving know-how, and snow removal work. "Dr. Mammoshi's Snow Road Campaign" will start on Wednesday, October 16, 2013.

This campaign is conducted through various media such as the Internet and radio/TV commercials and events such as service areas and parking areas (SA/PA), and will be held until April 30, 2014 (Wednesday).

  • Course content:

    ・Video introducing what you need to be aware of when driving on snowy roads
    ・Map that summarizes safety check points when driving on Expressway Hokkaido, Tohoku and Shin-etsu areas
    ・"Snowy road drive x quiz" to introduce safe driving on snowy roads in a quiz format
    There are plenty of contents for adults and children to enjoy.
  2. Teaching with posters and pamphlets
    We will introduce posters and pamphlets about winter equipment and points of snowy road driving at SA/PA and major car shops in Hokkaido, Tohoku, Kanto and Shin-Etsu areas.
  3. Teaching by TV/Radio CM
    We will broadcast the winter equipment and points of snow road driving etc. in each of the three winter seasons (early winter, severe winter, end winter) on major broadcasting stations in Hokkaido, Tohoku, Kanto, Shinetsu area.
  4. Other
    ・We plan events such as SA and PA. We will let you know once the event schedule is decided.
