The Nagano Expressway (Out-bound line) Ipponmatsu Tunnel has a deformation at the bottom of the tunnel due to the influence of the surrounding ground.

In order to provide a safe, secure, and comfortable road space, concrete will be newly installed at the bottom of the tunnel to strengthen the tunnel structure, and at the same time, work on countermeasures will start from August 29 to repair damage to the pavement surface. Doing.

In the construction work, traffic restrictions that reduce the number of lanes need to be enforced day and night, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, and traffic jams occur on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Especially during the mornings and evenings during the three consecutive holidays, there is heavy traffic due to construction work. Up to 9km It has occurred to some extent.

This is the repair work for the Ipponmatsu tunnel between Nagano road Asahi IC and Sarah IC (Out-bound line).

Since damage to the paved road surface of the tunnel is progressing this time, new concrete under the tunnel and paved road surface will be repaired as full-scale repair work before traffic is affected.

In addition, since it will take time to construct the concrete at the bottom of the tunnel body, and the construction will be done for each lane, the construction will be carried out under the day-night continuous lane regulation.

By installing new concrete at the bottom of the tunnel body, we will strengthen the tunnel structure and repair damage to the paved road surface to improve safety.

3 Implementation status

Currently, construction is being carried out by restricting the overtaking (right) lane, and as soon as this work is completed, the restrictions will be switched to work on the traveling (left) lane.
