- Donated vaccination vaccines to children in developing countries
October 18, 3rd year of Reiwa
East Nippon Expressway Co., Ltd.
NEXCO EAST will prevent rash for vulnerable children in the world through the UNICEF support gift of the Japan Committee for UNICEF (hereinafter referred to as "UNICEF") on October 18, 3rd year of Reiwa. Donated an inoculum vaccine.
In order to fulfill our corporate social responsibility, we support UNICEF's activities to promote the rights and healthy growth of all children, and contribute to the SDGs Goal 3 "Health and Welfare for All". It was implemented as a contributing initiative.
In the final week of "SDGs Month" held in-house in September every year, a "mini test on SDGs" is conducted, and each time one question is answered correctly according to the number of correct answers of the participating employees, one measles vaccination vaccine is given. As a result, we were able to donate 6,400 vaccines (equivalent to 312 thousand yen) to UNICEF.
We will continue to work together as one to achieve the SDGs.
