NEXCO EAST In Chiba Management Office (Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture), in order to use the rest facility more safely and comfortably, E51 Higashi-Kanto Expressway In the Shisui parking area (hereinafter “PA”) up and down lines, we will add small vehicles, large vehicles parking lot, pavement repair and sidewalk repair work.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the use of parking lots during the construction period. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

1 restricted locations and dates

(1) Restricted points
Higashi-Kanto Expressway Shisui PA (upper and lower lines) parking area (see attached sheet [PDF: 1.5MB] for details)

• Restrooms and commercial facilities are available.

• Attached to each line E51 Indications such as the line numbers (numbering) of Expressway etc. are displayed.

(2) Date and time
(In-bound line) 2020, February 20 (Thursday) -2020 in late May throughout the day (24 hours)

(Out-bound line) 2020 March 2 (Mon) -2020 in late May throughout the day (24 hours)

• Saturday, Sunday and public holidays will also be held. Also, the construction period will be extended depending on the progress of construction.
• Parking regulations will be reduced during the Golden Week period.

2 Construction overview

Higashi-Kanto Expressway Shisui PA (upper and lower lines), we will add small and large parking lots, repair pavements and repair sidewalks. Due to construction work, the parking area will be divided, and usage restrictions will be set for each area throughout the day and night. (See below for details)

Since this work is necessary to use the Expressway safely and comfortably, we ask for your understanding and cooperation.

3 Available facilities

Due to construction work, some parking spaces will be restricted, but the following facilities are available.

• Bathroom
• Commercial facility

• Since parking is expected to be crowded, please use the following SA / PA together.
  • Higashi-Kanto Expressway Sawara PA (upper and lower lines)
  • Keiyo Road Keiyo Ichikawa PA (Out-bound line), Makuhari PA (upper and lower lines)
  • Tateyama Expressway Ichihara SA (up and down line)
  • Chiba-Togane Road Noro PA (Out-bound line)
  • Ken-o Expressway Edozaki PA (inside and outside)

In addition, Daiei PA (top and bottom lines), the Gulf Makuhari PA (top and bottom lines), Noro PA (In-bound because we use limited part of the line), even the parking lot or the like, please note. (See below for details)
