3. 3. About transfer adjustment due to closure
For customers who temporarily flow out of the Expressway due to closure, bypass the closed section, re-inflow and transfer, we will implement "transfer adjustment" to adjust the toll according to the section used. (Refer to the attached sheet [PDF: 280KB])
Transfer designated IC
1) When heading from the Kita Kanto Expressway (westbound) toward Utsunomiya to the Kan-Etsu Expressway (In-bound) toward Tokyo
Closed point | Outflow designation IC | Re-inflow designated IC |
---|---|---|
Kita Kanto Expressway Westbound (toward Utsunomiya) ⇒Ramp on the Kan-Etsu Expressway In-bound line (toward Tokyo) |
[Kita Kanto Expressway] Komagata IC, Maebashi Minami IC |
[Kan-Etsu Expressway] Takasaki IC, Takasaki Tamamura SIC *, Kamisato SIC * Honjo Kodama IC, Hanazono IC, Ranzan Ogawa IC |
* ・ ・ ・ Smart interchange (limited to ETC vehicles)
2) When heading from the Kita Kanto Expressway (westbound) toward Utsunomiya to the Joshinetsu Expressway (Out-bound) toward Nagano
Closed point | Outflow designation IC | Re-inflow designated IC |
---|---|---|
Kita Kanto Expressway Westbound (toward Utsunomiya) ⇒Ramp on the Kan-Etsu Expressway In-bound line (toward Tokyo) |
[Kita Kanto Expressway] Komagata IC, Maebashi Minami IC |
[Kan-Etsu Expressway] Takasaki IC, Takasaki Tamamura SIC * [Joshinetsu Expressway] Fujioka IC, Yoshii IC, Tomioka IC |
* ・ ・ ・ Smart interchange (limited to ETC vehicles)
How to use transit adjustment
≪ETC customers≫
- Customers using ETC are requested to run the outflow designated IC wirelessly and the re-inflow designated IC wirelessly. (No transit certificate will be issued for ETC vehicles)
- ETC time zone discount will be applied, considering the transited journey as one.
Toll charges are adjusted at the time of billing, so they may differ from those displayed at the toll gate. - Insert the same ETC card for all journeys and pass through the ETC lane at the tollgate.
≪Customers such as cash≫
- Customers who pay by cash, etc. should receive the "passage certificate" at the outflow designated IC, and then get the "passport" at the re-inflow designated IC, and then make the "transfer" at the toll booth that pays the fare first. Please give us your "certificate" and "passport".
≪Common to customers such as ETC and cash≫
- If the road closure is lifted after the outflow is specified by the outflow designated IC, the charge will be adjusted even if the IC (including the outflow designated IC) in the closed section is re-inflowed.
Four. Construction overview
The road surface is damaged on the ramp from the Kita Kanto Expressway westbound (Utsunomiya area) to the Kan-Etsu Expressway In-bound line (Tokyo area), so we will carry out pavement repair work. The section where this work is to be carried out is one lane, and it is not possible to carry out the work under normal lane regulations, so it is necessary to close the lamp and carry out the work.
Therefore, in order to avoid inconvenience to customers as much as possible, we will close the lamps on weekday nights when there is little traffic, and carry out the construction intensively and efficiently. This work is necessary to use Expressway safely and comfortably, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.
