NEXCO EAST　The Tsuruoka Management Office (Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture) will close the E48 Yamagata Expressway (hereinafter referred to as "Yamagata Road") from the Yudenyama Interchange (hereinafter referred to as "IC") to the Tsuruoka IC on the up and down lines during the night for pavement repair work and periodic inspection of facilities and equipment.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and ask for your understanding and cooperation in allowing extra time for your trip.

• Parking areas (hereinafter referred to as "PA") within the road closure sections will be closed as follows:
  Yamagata Expressway, inbound and outbound lanes, Kushibiki PA, 8pm to 6am the next morning
• In stormy weather, it will be postponed to the spare day.
• The decision to proceed with construction will be announced on X (formerly Twitter), etc.

2. Detour

For detours, please refer to Appendix 1 [PDF: 214KB].
The detour will increase travel time, so please allow yourself plenty of time when traveling.

3. Construction overview

Yamagata Expressway Upper and Lower Lines Between Shonai Asahi IC ⇔ Tsuruoka IC, the road surface is damaged, so pavement repair work will be carried out. Periodic inspections and repair work will be carried out on the Yamagata Expressway upper and lower lines between Yudonosan IC ⇔ Shonai Asahi IC in the temporary two-lane section. In order to minimize inconvenience to our customers, we will close the road at night on weekdays when traffic is low, and carry out construction intensively and efficiently. This is necessary for the safe and comfortable use of Expressway, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.
