[E17] Notice of suspension of traffic between Hanazono IC and Honjo Kodama IC on the Kan-Etsu Expressway Out-bound line

NEXCO EAST Tokorozawa Management Office (Tokorozawa City, Saitama Prefecture), the Saitama Prefectural Police will reassess the accident between the E17 Kan-Etsu Expressway (Out-bound line) Hanazono Interchange (hereinafter "IC") and Honjo Kodama IC. We will close the road (about 1 hour) as follows.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused to our customers, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation so that you have enough time in advance.

(1) Section: Kan-Etsu Expressway (Out-bound line) between Hanazono IC and Honjo Kodama IC

(2) Date and time: 2019 11:00 pm to 0:00 the next day (about 1 hour)

3 Transfer adjustments due to suspension of traffic

For passengers who temporarily flow out of the Expressway due to suspension of traffic, bypass the suspension of traffic, re-enter, and transfer in the forward direction, we carry out "transit adjustment" to adjust the toll according to the segment used. • Please note that for Yorii Smart ICs that are designated as outflows, outflows from PAs are subject to transit adjustments, but inflows are not subject to transit adjustments.
  Also, please be aware that if you enter the PA using the Yorii Smart IC, you will not be able to flow out of the PA to the main line during the closed hours.

How to use transit adjustment

<< ETC customers >>
Customers using ETC should run the outflow designated IC wirelessly and the re-inflow designated IC wirelessly. (“Transit certificate” will not be issued for ETC vehicles)
ETC time zone discount will be applied, considering the transited journey as one.
Toll charges are adjusted at the time of billing, so they may differ from those displayed at the toll gate.

<< Customers for cash, etc. >>
Customers who pay by cash, etc. should receive the "passenger certificate" at the outflow designated IC, and then get the "passport" at the re-inflow designated IC, and then make the "transfer at the tollgate where the fee is paid first." Please give us your "certificate" and "passport".
