We are pleased to announce that the Onahama Road, which Fukushima Prefecture has been developing as a Fukushima Reconstruction and Revitalization Road, is scheduled to open at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 7, 2025. In addition, it will connect to the Iwaki Onahama IC on the E6 Joban Expressway which has been developed in collaboration with NEXCO EAST.
The opening of the Onahama Road is expected to help revitalize the region in terms of logistics, industry, and tourism, as well as ensure smooth emergency transportation in the event of a large-scale disaster, and alleviate vehicular congestion around Onahama Port.

2. About Iwaki Onahama IC

  1. 小名浜道路と同時に常磐自動車道 いわき小名浜ICが開通いたします。
    これにより常磐自動車道と小名浜道路が接続いたします。
  2. Iwaki Onahama IC is a normal full interchange and is available to all vehicle types.
