NEXCO EAST Tohoku Regional Head Office (Miyagino-ku, Sendai) announces the traffic congestion forecast (concentrated traffic congestion of 5 km or more) at Expressway in the Tohoku region during the Bon Festival period [2024 Thursday, August 8 through Sunday, August 18: 11 days].
To ease traffic congestion, We ask for your cooperation in "dispersing use" by avoiding crowded days and times.
1. 1. Congestion forecast
On Expressway in the Tohoku region, it is predicted that there will be 20 traffic jams of more than 5km in length, 10 on the Out-bound lanes and 10 on In-bound lanes.
