- A first for Expressway! NEXCO EAST Kanto Regional Head Office, Urawa Reds, and Saitama City will promote "Urawa, the city of soccer" at the Urawa Interchange on Tohoku Expressway (E4)!

NEXCO EAST Kanto Regional Head Office (Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture), Urawa Red Diamonds Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Urawa Reds") and Saitama City will display "Urawa, the City of Soccer" at E4 Tohoku Expressway Urawa IC (exit coming from the Iwatsuki direction), the nearest IC to Saitama Stadium 2002, the home stadium of the Urawa Reds, whose hometown is Saitama City, in preparation for the opening home match of the Meiji Yasuda J1 League season in 2025. The sign will promote Urawa, one of Japan's leading soccer cities, to all users of Expressway.
NEXCO EAST Kanto Regional Head Office, Urawa Reds, and Saitama City will continue to work together to revitalize the region.
