NEXCO EAST Chiba Management Office (Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture), pavement repair work will be carried out at the entrance ramp of the E51 Higashi-Kanto Expressway (hereinafter "Higashi Kanto Expressway") In-bound line Sakura Interchange (hereinafter "IC"). Therefore, we will close it at night.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused to our customers, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation so that you will have time to spare when you go out.
1. 1. Closing location and date and time
(1) Closed location: Higashi Kanto Expressway In-bound Line Sakura IC entrance (toward Tokyo) ramp
- Attached to each line E51 The indications such as indicate the route number (numbering) of Expressway.
(2) Date and time
Implementation date: 2020 October 12th (Monday) to 20th (Tuesday) 21:00 pm to 5:00 the next morning (excluding Saturdays and Sundays)
Preliminary day: 2020 October 21st (Wednesday) -29th (Thursday) 21:00 pm to 5:00 the next morning (excluding Saturdays and Sundays)
- In stormy weather, it will be postponed to the spare day.
- We will inform you of the implementation decision on Twitter etc. around 17:00 on the day.
2. Detour
Refer to the figure below for detours.
Detours will increase the time required, so please take time to go out.
① When detouring to E51 Yotsukaido IC
As shown by the blue arrow, turn right at the Yoshioka Crossroads intersection on National Route 51 and use Prefectural Road 66 and Prefectural Road 64. If you make a detour as shown in the figure below, it will take about 27 minutes (usually about 4 minutes).
② When detouring to Miyanogi JCT via E14 Kaizuka IC
As shown by the pink arrow, please use Route 51 and detour to Miyanogi JCT via the Keiyo Road In-bound Line Kaizuka IC. If you make a detour as shown in the figure below, it will take about 29 minutes (usually about 8 minutes).
* You cannot use the Kaizuka IC toward the Ichihara IC. Please use the Yotsukaido IC.
3. Construction overview
Higashi Kanto road In-bound in line Sakura IC of the entrance ramp, because the damage to the road surface has occurred, will be carried out pavement repair work. The section where this work is to be carried out is one lane, and it is not possible to carry out the work under normal lane regulations, so it is necessary to close the lamp and carry out the work.
Therefore, in order to avoid inconvenience to customers as much as possible, we will close the lamps on weekday nights when there is little traffic, and carry out the construction intensively and efficiently. This work is necessary for you to use the Expressway safely and comfortably, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.
