NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Regional Head Office (Atsubetsu-ku, Sapporo City) has selected 11 excellent construction projects, etc. from among the construction, survey, and other work (construction, etc.) ordered by NEXCO EAST Japan Hokkaido Regional Head Office that was completed in fiscal year 2023, which demonstrated particularly excellent construction and safety management efforts.
An awards ceremony for the contractors who carried out the selected excellent construction works will be held from 3:15 pm on 2024 at the Sapporo Convention Center (Shiroishi Ward, Sapporo).
1. 1. Selected excellent works, etc.
A total of 59 construction projects and other works were completed in fiscal year 2023 (18 construction projects and 41 investigations, etc.), of which 11 were selected as outstanding construction projects and other works (6 awarded by Regional Head Office managers and 5 awarded by office managers) (see attached document for details [PDF: 556 KB]).

The construction system, construction management, process management, safety measures, finished form, quality, workmanship, etc. were excellent in general, and the response to construction conditions and ingenuity were confirmed.

2. About the award ceremony
The awards ceremony for outstanding construction projects (Regional Head Office manager awards) will be held as follows. The awards ceremony for construction projects selected as "excellent construction projects" or "excellent work" (office manager awards) will be held at each office at a later date.

3. 3. Purpose of the award
Every year, NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Regional Head Office selects excellent construction projects from among those completed in the previous fiscal year with the aim of improving construction quality and technology in investigations and other operations, and presents an award to the businesses that carried out the selected construction projects. This has been held every year since fiscal 2009, and this year marks the 16th time it has been held.
In addition, businesses that have carried out construction work selected as excellent construction work will be eligible for additional points based on their "award track record" in the construction work ordering procedures conducted by NEXCO EAST using the comprehensive evaluation bidding method and proposal method.
