Congestion alleviation effect at main toll gates due to the spread of ETC

  • During the year-end and New Year holidays, the ETC usage rate in our company was 46%, which is about double that of the same period last year. (ETC utilization rate 24% nationwide in the same period last year)
  • At the main toll gates during the year-end and New Year holidays, despite the increase in daily traffic volume, traffic congestion caused by traffic congestion decreased by approximately 90% from the 2002 level, and by half from the previous year. (The number of times of traffic congestion this year occurred about once on the tollgate, and the maximum traffic congestion length was about 1 km on average)

[Congestion amount] * Congestion amount is an index that indicates the size of congestion (maximum congestion length x congestion time/2)
