NEXCO EAST Koriyama Management Office (Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture) will be closing the Kagamiishi Parking Area (hereinafter referred to as "PA") on Out-bound lane of the E4 Tohoku Expressway (hereinafter referred to as "Tohoku Expressway") at night for pavement repairs within the rest area.
In addition, due to this closure, the Kagamiishi Smart Interchange (hereinafter referred to as the "IC") on the Out-bound lane will also be closed.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we ask for your understanding and cooperation in allowing yourself plenty of time when heading out.

3. Construction overview

Tohoku Expressway　Out-bound Repair work will be performed at the Kagamiishi PA and Kagamiishi Smart IC due to pavement damage. Since the section to be repaired is a single lane, it is necessary to close the ramp for the work since the work cannot be carried out under the normal lane restrictions.
Therefore, in order to minimize inconvenience to customers, the ramp will be closed during the nighttime on weekdays when traffic volume is low, so that the work can be carried out in an intensive and efficient manner. We ask for your understanding and cooperation as this work is necessary for the safe and comfortable use of Expressway.
