NEXCO EAST Koriyama Management Office (Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture) will be closing the In-bound exit ramp of the E4 Tohoku Expressway Shirakawa Chuo Smart Interchange (hereinafter referred to as the "IC") at night for pavement repairs.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we ask for your understanding and cooperation in allowing yourself plenty of time when heading out.
1. Closed location and date and time

2. Detour

The detour will increase the travel time, so please allow yourself plenty of time before heading out.
3. Construction overview
Repair work will be carried out on the In-bound Tohoku Expressway Chuo Smart IC exit ramp due to damage to the pavement. The section in which this work will be carried out is a single lane, and since it cannot be carried out under normal lane restrictions, it is necessary to close the ramp to carry out the work.
Therefore, in order to minimize inconvenience to customers, we will close the ramps at night on weekdays when traffic volume is low, and carry out the work in a concentrated and efficient manner. This work is necessary to ensure that customers can use Expressway safely and comfortably, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.
