NEXCO EAST Hachinohe Management Office (Hachinohe City, Aomori Prefecture) will be implementing night-time road closures as follows for the temporary two-lane sections (one lane in each direction) of the E4A Hachinohe Hachinohe Expressway from Hachinohe Junction (hereinafter referred to as "JCT") to Hachinohe Kita Interchange (hereinafter referred to as "IC"), from Hachinohe JCT to the Hachinohe JCT toll gate, and the E4A Momoishi Toll Road from Hachinohe Kita IC to Shimoda Momoishi IC for opening installation work, pavement repair work, etc.
In addition, the Second Michinoku Toll Road (managed by the Aomori Prefectural Road Corporation), which connects directly to Momoishi Toll Road, will also be completely closed from Shimoda Momoishi IC to Misawa Towada Shimoda IC due to improvement work on the road heating area.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we ask for your understanding and cooperation in allowing yourself plenty of time when heading out.

2. Detour

For detours, please refer to the attached document [PDF: 243KB].
The detour will increase travel time, so please allow yourself plenty of time when traveling.

3. 3. Construction details

Damage to the road surface occurred on Hachinohe Expressway between Hachinohe JCT and Hachinohe Kita IC (up Out-bound lines), from Hachinohe JCT to Hachinohe JCT tollgate (outbound line), and on Momoishi Toll Road between Hachinohe Kita IC and Shimoda Momokoku IC (up and down lines). Therefore, we will carry out pavement repair work. In order to minimize the inconvenience to customers, the road will be closed on weekday nights when traffic is light, and the construction work will be carried out intensively and efficiently. This work is necessary to ensure safe and comfortable use Expressway, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.
