At NEXCO EAST Iwaki Management Office (Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture), E6 Due to pavement repair work and other works, night-time ramp closures will be implemented at Iwaki Nakoso Interchange (hereinafter referred to as "IC") on both the northbound and southbound lanes Joban Expressway (hereinafter referred to as "Joban Expressway").
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our customers, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation so that you have plenty of time to spare when you go out.

2. Construction overview

Due to damage to the road surface at Iwaki-Nakoso IC on both the northbound and southbound lanes Joban Expressway, pavement repair work will be carried out. In order to minimize inconvenience to customers, ramps will be closed at night when traffic volume is low, and work will be carried out in a concentrated and efficient manner. This work is necessary to ensure the safe and comfortable use of Expressway, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.

3. How to obtain traffic information

  • Notice signs, posters and leaflets will be posted at toll booths and rest facilities nearby.
  • A banner will be posted on the overpass on the Expressway.

    The highway radio section is indicated by signs on the Expressway.
  • Highway Information Terminal
    We will inform you of road information in an easy-to-understand manner by the monitor screens installed in SA / PA.

    You can get road traffic information with VICS-compatible car navigation and other on-board devices.
  • Information is also distributed on the official X (formerly Twitter) account.
