- In stormy weather, it will be postponed to the spare day.
- The decision to proceed with construction will be announced on X (formerly Twitter), etc.
2. Detour
For detour information, please refer to Attachment 1 [PDF: 280KB].
The detour will increase the travel time, so please allow plenty of time for your trip.
3. Regarding transit adjustments due to suspension of traffic
【2】Nitto Expressway Kawabe JCT For customers who temporarily flow out of Expressway due to the closure of the ramp that flows from Nitto Expressway to Noshiro Expressway, bypasses the closed section, and re-enters and transfers in the forward direction, we will implement a "transit adjustment" that adjusts the toll according to the section used. (See Appendix 2 [PDF:154KB])
How to use transit adjustment
ETC customers
- Customers using ETC are requested to run the outflow designated IC wirelessly and the re-inflow designated IC wirelessly. (No transit certificate will be issued for ETC vehicles)
- ETC time zone discount will be applied, considering the transited journey as one.
Toll charges are adjusted at the time of billing, so they may differ from those displayed at the toll gate. - Insert the same ETC card for all journeys and pass through the ETC lane at the tollgate.
Customers such as cash
- Customers who pay by cash, etc. should receive the "passage certificate" at the outflow designated IC, and then get the "passport" at the re-inflow designated IC, and then make the "transfer" at the toll booth that pays the fare first. Please give us your "certificate" and "passport".
Common to ETC and cash customers
- If the suspension of traffic is released after the outflow designated IC is released, the fare will be adjusted even if it is re-introduced from the IC (including the outflow designated IC) in the closed road section in the forward direction.
Four. Construction overview
[1] On the Nitto Expressway, between Kawabe JCT and Iwaki IC, we will carry out pavement repair work and dismantle scaffolding for seismic reinforcement work. Pavement repair work will be carried out between Akita Airport IC and Iwaki IC due to damage to the road surface. At Kawabe JCT, each ramp bridge has one lane, and when carrying out work such as dismantling scaffolding for seismic reinforcement work, it is impossible to carry out construction under normal lane regulations, so it is necessary to close each ramp.
【2】Nitto Province Kawabe JCT At the ramp flowing from Nitto Expressway to Akita Road Noshiro, scaffolding etc. will be dismantled for seismic reinforcement work. Since construction cannot be carried out with normal lane regulations, it is necessary to close the ramp flowing from the Akita Airport IC to Noshiro and carry out the work.
In order to minimize inconvenience to customers, the road will be closed on weekday nights when there is little traffic, and construction will be carried out intensively and efficiently. This construction is necessary for safe and comfortable use of the Expressway, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.
