NEXCO EAST Sendai Management Office (Aoba Ward, Sendai City) will close the E4 Tohoku Expressway Sendai Minami Interchange (hereinafter referred to as "IC") entrance ramp on the general road side at night due to pavement repair work.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our customers, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation so that you have plenty of time to spare when you go out.

    • You can use the entrance from the Sendai direction.
    [3] Closed area:
    Tohoku Expressway Sendai Minami IC general road side exit ramp (exit towards Yamagata)
    • You can use the exit towards Sendai.

2. Detour

The detour will increase the travel time, so please allow plenty of time for your trip.

3. Construction overview

Pavement repair work will be carried out due to damage to the pavement at Tohoku Expressway Sendai Minami IC entrance/exit ramp on the general road side. The section where this work will be carried out has one lane, and since the work cannot be carried out under normal lane regulations, it is necessary to close the ramp.
Therefore, in order to minimize the inconvenience to customers, the ramp will be closed on weekday nights when traffic is light, and construction will be carried out intensively and efficiently. This work is necessary to ensure safe and comfortable use Expressway, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.
