NEXCO EAST Morioka Management Office (Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture) has announced the following for the variable road information board facility renewal work between the E4 Tohoku Expressway Shiwa Interchange (IC) and Morioka Minami IC. We will close the road at night as shown below.
Therefore, when you go out, please leave with plenty of time, and when you drive, please make a detour to Route 4.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused to customers using the Expressway, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation in the construction work necessary to use the Expressway safely and comfortably.

Between Shiwa IC and Morioka Minami IC (upper and lower lines)
Friday, November 12, 3rd year of Reiwa from 0:00 to 5:00
[Preliminary day: Saturday, November 13th and Tuesday, November 16th, every night from 0:00 to 5:00]

Variable road information board equipment update

We will carry out renewal work due to the deterioration of the information board.

• We will close the road to remove the variable road information board and pillars in the red frame.
