NEXCO EAST Akita Management Office (Akita City, Akita Prefecture) is a temporary 2 lane section (1 lane on each side) E7 Akita Expressway Akita Minami Interchange (IC) and the Showa Oga Peninsula IC (upper and lower lines), we will carry out night traffic closures due to wire rope type lane division fence installation work and pavement repair work, etc.
We apologize for the inconvenience to our customers, but this work is necessary to use the Expressway safely and comfortably. We will do our best to minimize the inconvenience to our customers, such as by closing the roads at night when traffic is decreasing. We ask for your understanding and cooperation.

2. Closed period

1. Between Akita Minami IC and Akita Kita IC (upper and lower lines)
   August 24th (Mon) 2020 1st (Tuesday), 20:00-20:00 every night
   [Preliminary days: September 2 (Wed)-4 (Fri)]
2. Between Akita Chuo IC and Showa Oga Peninsula IC (upper and lower lines)
   2020 September 7th (Mon)-October 22nd (Thurs) Every night from 20:00 to 6:00
   [Preliminary days: October 23 (Fri)-30 (Fri)]

• Closing at night is from 20:00 on weekdays to 6am the next morning.
  (Friday night construction will be done until 6 am on Saturday)
• It may be canceled depending on the weather, so please check the latest information from websites such as "DraTra" when using the Expressway.

4. Construction content

Wire rope type lane division fence installation work

A wire rope will be installed as a measure to prevent a frontal collision accident in the temporary 2-lane section.

Pavement repair work

We will repair the places where cracks on the pavement surface are noticeable.

In addition, we will carry out bridge inspections and normal maintenance work.

5. Regarding transfer fare adjustment due to suspension of traffic

For passengers who leave the Expressway once due to a nighttime suspension and bypass the closed section and transfer again in the same direction, we will make a "transit adjustment" to adjust the toll according to the section used.
