    お盆時期における、東北支社管内(東北6県)の高速道路のご利用台数は、1日当たり平均約31.6万台で、昨年の同時期[平成17年8月10日(水)~平成17年8月21日(日) の12日間]に比べて、約2.1%の増(昨年は、1日当たり平均約30.9万台)となりました。
    なお、この時期のご利用台数は、平成16年度以降3年連続で増加しております
    ※ご利用台数とは、料金所出口でお客様から料金をいただいた台数です。

    ■ご利用台数の増加について
    ご利用台数が昨年より増加した要因としては、景気が回復傾向にあることや、全般的に天候にも恵まれたことなどから、昨年を上回るご利用台数となったものと考えられます。
    東北自動車道をはじめとして、全体的に堅調な伸びがありました。特に、山形自動車道と磐越自動車道のご利用台数が増加しており、山形自動車道は、鶴岡・酒田方面への海水浴や周辺観光施設等へのご利用、磐越自動車道は、周辺観光施設へのご利用が多く、全体の交通量を下支えしたものと思われます。
