Results of joint enforcement on national roads and Expressway for special vehicles and overloaded vehicles

With the aim of preventing accidents and damage to roads and bridges due to illegal operation of large vehicles, National Route 8 is managed by the Oka National Highway Office of the Hokuriku Regional Development Bureau, and NEXCO EAST Niigata Regional Head Office Nagaoka Management Office manages the road. A joint crackdown was carried out at the same time on Kan-Etsu Expressway.
This is the first time that the Nagaoka National Highway Office and the Nagaoka Management Office have jointly cracked down on special vehicles and overloaded vehicles.
