NEXCO EAST Niigata Regional Head Office (Chuo-ku, Niigata City) will be located between the E8 Hokuriku Expressway Kakizaki Kakizaki Interchange (IC) and the Yoneyama Yoneyama IC from May 9th (Monday) to November 29th (Tuesday), 4th year of Reiwa. Until then, the Yoneyama Tunnel invert installation work (renewal work) is being carried out. From June 1, 4th (Wednesday), Reiwa has been implementing all-day lane restrictions by two-way traffic on the upper and lower lines.
Since it is necessary to install inverts continuously and regulations will be applied including the summer traffic congestion period, congestion is predicted on the Nagaoka Fireworks Festival date and Obon period near the construction site between Kakizaki IC and Yoneyama IC on the Hokuriku Expressway. I am.

Between the Hokuriku Expressway Kakizaki IC and the Yoneyama IC, there is a maximum lane regulation of about 6.3km, and the number of lanes that can be driven has been reduced from two lanes on each side to one lane on each side.

Five. About invert installation work to be carried out during lane regulation

Invert construction aims to improve stability by installing an invert to make the tunnel a closed structure and increase the yield strength, prevent deformation such as uplift and subsidence due to board swelling.
