NEXCO EAST The Chiba Management Office (Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture) will implement lane restrictions throughout the day to carry out road construction from E51 Higashi-Kanto Expressway (hereinafter referred to as "Higashi-Kanto Expressway") In-bound line Taiei Junction (hereinafter referred to as "JCT") to Narita JCT.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we are predicting the occurrence of traffic congestion at the beginning of the lane restriction section, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation when you go out.
In addition, within the regulated zone, please comply with the speed limit and cooperate in driving safely.

  • During the lane closure period, traffic congestion is expected to occur from around 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • During the lane closure period, in order to alleviate congestion, we ask for your cooperation in taking detours around construction areas and avoiding times when congestion is expected.
  • The period of lane closures may change depending on the progress of construction.
  • Please check the latest traffic information before setting off, as actual traffic conditions may differ from predictions due to accidents, weather, etc.

2. Construction overview

Between Daiei JCT ~ Narita JCT on the Higashi-Kanto Expressway, we are developing a cut-off road for the Higashi-Kanto Expressway. Due to the connection work between the cutting road and the Higashi-Kanto Expressway, lane restrictions will be implemented throughout the day, and the construction will be carried out intensively and efficiently. This is necessary for the safe and comfortable use of Expressway, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.

3. How to obtain traffic information

  • Notice signs, posters and leaflets will be posted at toll booths and rest facilities nearby.
  • A banner will be posted on the overpass on the Expressway.
