NEXCO EAST Misato Management Office (Misato Prefecture) will be closing the entrance ramp to Wako Kita Interchange (hereinafter referred to as "IC") on the outer loop of the C3 Gaikan Expressway (hereinafter referred to as "Outer Ring Expressway") at night to carry out pavement repair work.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we ask for your understanding and cooperation in allowing yourself plenty of time when heading out.

1. 1. Closing location and date and time

  • In stormy weather, it will be postponed to the spare day.
  • The decision to carry out construction will be announced on X (formerly Twitter) etc. around 5:00 pm on the day of construction.

2. Construction overview

Due to damage to the road surface at the entrance ramp to Wako Kita IC on the outer ring road, pavement repair work will be carried out. The section in which this work will be carried out is a ramp section, and since it cannot be carried out under normal ramp regulations, it is necessary to close the ramp to carry out the work.
Therefore, in order to minimize inconvenience to our customers, we will close the ramps at night on weekdays when traffic volume is low, and carry out the work in a concentrated and efficient manner. This work is necessary to ensure that customers can use Expressway safely and comfortably, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.

3. Detour

[Detour I] When heading towards Misato from National Route 298

　青色矢印のとおり、国道298号を三郷方面に進み、外環浦和ICをご利用ください。
　和光北IC⇒外環浦和IC間を迂回した場合、所要時間は約18分（通常約7分）かかる見込みです。

  • ETC利用者は戸田東ICからご利用可能です。

[Detour II] When heading towards Ikebukuro from National Route 298

　As indicated by the pink arrow, take National Route 298, then take National Route 17 towards Ikebukuro and use the Toda Minami IC.
If you take a detour between Wako Kita IC and Toda Minami IC, the journey is expected to take approximately 12 minutes (usually approximately 6 minutes).

[Detour III] When heading towards Omiya from National Route 298

　As indicated by the orange arrow, take National Route 298, then take National Route 17 towards Omiya and exit at Urawa Kita IC.
If you take a detour between Wako Kita IC and Urawa Kita IC, the journey is expected to take approximately 18 minutes (usually approximately 12 minutes).

Four. How to obtain traffic information
