NEXCO EAST　Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway The Management Office (Kisarazu City, Chiba Prefecture) will close the road between the Futtsu-Chuo Interchange (hereinafter "IC") on E14 Tateyama Expressway (hereinafter "Tateyama Road") and the Tomiura IC on E14 Futtsu-Tateyama Road (hereinafter "Tomikan Road") during the night for pavement repair work and road structure repair and inspection.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and ask for your understanding and cooperation in allowing extra time for your trip.

2. Detour

For detours, please refer to Appendix 1 [PDF: 269KB].
The detour will increase travel time, so please allow yourself plenty of time when traveling.

3. Regarding transit adjustments due to suspension of traffic

For customers who exit Expressway due to a road closure, detour around the closed section, then re-enter and transfer in the forward direction, a "transfer adjustment" will be implemented in which the toll fee will be adjusted according to the section used. (See Appendix 2 [PDF: 139KB])

How to use transit adjustment

ETC customers

• Customers using ETC are asked to use radio to drive through the designated exit interchange and also at the re-entering interchange.
  (ETC vehicles will not be issued a "Transfer Certificate.")
• ETC time zone discount will be applied, considering the transited journey as one.
  Toll charges are adjusted at the time of billing, so they may differ from those displayed at the toll gate.

Customers such as cash

• Customers paying by cash, etc. should collect a "Transfer Certificate" at the designated IC from which they exit, then collect a "Toll Ticket" at the designated IC from which they re-enter, and then hand over the "Transfer Certificate" and "Toll Ticket" at the toll gate where they first pay the toll.
  Customers exiting from Futtsu Chuo IC should collect their "Transfer Certificate" at the lane marked "ETC/Support" or "Support".
  In addition, Futtsu Kanaya IC is an ETC toll gate, so cash vehicles cannot use it as a re-entry IC. Cash vehicles are asked to use Futtsu Takeoka IC or Kyonan Yasuda IC.

Four. Construction overview

At the Tateyama Road Futtsu Chuo IC ~ Tomikan Road Tomiura IC, we will carry out pavement repair work and repair and inspection of road structures.
Since the section where this work will be carried out is one lane on each side and cannot be constructed under normal lane regulations, the road will be closed on weekday nights when there is little traffic so as not to cause as much inconvenience to customers as possible, and the construction will be carried out intensively and efficiently.
This construction is necessary for safe and comfortable use of the Expressway, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.

Five. How to obtain traffic information

(1) Guidance by distribution / posting

• Notice signs, posters and leaflets will be posted at toll booths and rest facilities nearby.
• A banner will be posted on the overpass on the Expressway.
