NEXCO EAST Misato Management Office (Misato Prefecture) will be closing the exit ramp at Wako Kita Interchange (hereinafter referred to as "IC") on the outer loop of the C3 Gaikan Expressway (hereinafter referred to as "Outer Ring Expressway") at night to carry out pavement repair work.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we ask for your understanding and cooperation in allowing yourself plenty of time when heading out.

1. 1. Closing location and date and time

  1. Closures:
    Outer Ring Road, Outer Loop, Wako Kita IC, Exit Ramp to Kawaguchi
    (At the same time, the Shinkura Parking Area (hereinafter referred to as "PA") will also be unavailable.)

  • PAs within closed sections cannot be used as follows:
    Outer Ring Road, Shinkura PA, 9pm to 5am
  • In stormy weather, it will be postponed to the spare day.
  • The decision to carry out construction will be announced on X (formerly Twitter) etc. around 5:00 pm on the day of construction.

2. Detour

Please refer to the diagram below for detours.
As indicated by 　the blue arrow, exit the Outer Ring Road at Wako IC, take the main local road Wako Interchange, and use National Route 254. If you take the detour between the Outer Ring Road Wako IC and Wako Kita IC as shown in the diagram below, it is expected to take about 10 minutes (usually about 2 minutes).

3. Construction overview

Due to damage to the road surface at the exit ramp of Wako Kita IC on the outer ring road, pavement repair work will be carried out. The section in which this work will be carried out is a ramp section, and since it cannot be carried out under normal ramp regulations, it is necessary to close the ramp to carry out the work.
Therefore, in order to minimize inconvenience to our customers, we will close the ramps at night on weekdays when traffic volume is low, and carry out the work in a concentrated and efficient manner. This work is necessary to ensure that customers can use Expressway safely and comfortably, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.

Four. How to obtain traffic information

  • Notice signs, posters and leaflets will be posted at toll booths and rest facilities nearby.

    The highway radio section is indicated by signs on the Expressway.

    We will inform you of road information in an easy-to-understand manner by the monitor screens installed in SA / PA.

    You can get road traffic information with VICS-compatible car navigation and other on-board devices.
  • Information is also distributed on official X (formerly Twitter) and LINE accounts.
