NEXCO EAST Tokorozawa Management Office (Tokorozawa City, Saitama Prefecture) will carry out pavement repair work at Kawajima Ken-o Expressway (hereinafter referred to as ``IC'') on the C4 Metropolitan Area Central Ken-O Road Expressway (hereinafter referred to as ``Ken-O Expressway''). Therefore, the ramp will be closed.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our customers, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation in allowing plenty of time when you go out.

1. 1. Closing location and date and time

1. Closed location:
   Ken-O Road IC National Route 254 Exit ramp towards Higashimatsuyama

   Implementation date:

   April 8th (Monday) to April 10th (Wednesday) 2024

   Every day from 20:00 to 6:00 the next morning

   Preparation day:

   April 11th (Thursday) to April 15th (Monday) 2024

   [Excluding Saturdays and Sundays] Every day from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM the next morning

2. Detour

Please refer to the diagram below for detours when the road is closed.
Follow 　the blue arrow to take National Route 254 towards Kawagoe ⇒ Turn left at Kami Igusa ⇒ Turn left at Hiranuma ⇒ Proceed to Nakayama and continue towards your destination.
If you take the detour as shown in the diagram below, it is estimated that the journey will take approximately 7 minutes.

3. Construction overview

Due to damage to the road surface at Ken-O Road IC exit ramp, pavement repair work will be carried out. The section where this work will be carried out has one lane, and since the work cannot be carried out under normal lane regulations, it is necessary to close the ramp.
Therefore, in order to minimize the inconvenience to customers, the ramp will be closed on weekday nights when traffic is light, and construction will be carried out intensively and efficiently.
This work is necessary to ensure safe and comfortable use Expressway, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.

Four. How to obtain traffic information

(1) Guidance by distribution / posting

• Notice signs, posters and leaflets will be posted at toll booths and rest facilities nearby.
• A banner will be posted on the overpass on the Expressway.
• On the day of the ramp closing, a detour sign will be installed at the main intersection of the detour.
