At the NEXCO EAST Chiba Management Office (Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture), In-bound the E51 Higashi-Kanto Expressway (hereinafter referred to as the "Higashi-Kanto Expressway") Line The exit ramp of the Wanganchiba Interchange (hereinafter referred to as "IC") will be closed at night to repair the sound insulation wall.

2. Detour

Please refer to the diagram below for detours.
If you take a detour between Higashi-Kanto Expressway Miyanogi JCT and Wangan Chiba IC via Keiyo Road, Prefectural Route 57, and Chiba City Road Nakase Makuharicho Line, it is expected to take approximately 13 minutes (normally approximately 7 minutes).
The detour will increase the travel time, so please allow plenty of time for your trip.

3. Construction overview

Since the sound insulation wall is damaged at the exit ramp of the Gulf Chiba IC on the Higashi-Kanto Expressway In-bound Line, we will carry out sound insulation wall repair work. The section where this work is to be carried out is one lane, and since it is not possible to carry out construction under normal lane regulations, it is necessary to close the ramp and carry out the work.
Therefore, in order to minimize inconvenience to our customers, we will close the ramps on weekday evenings when traffic is low, and carry out construction intensively and efficiently. This is necessary for the safe and comfortable use of the Expressway, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.
