The Kanto Regional Liaison Council (hereinafter referred to as the ``Liaison Council'') for the optimization of large vehicle traffic is centered on the road administrators who make up the committee, and the Kanto Regional Liaison Council (hereinafter referred to as the ``Liaison Council'') is responsible for the traffic control of large vehicles of the police and transportation bureaus in the Kanto and Koshin areas. We would like to inform you that the three parties involved worked together to carry out large-scale simultaneous joint enforcement in the Tokyo metropolitan area at a total of 16 of the 21 planned locations, excluding locations that were canceled due to rain or other reasons.
In order to promote the proper and safe use of roads, the Liaison Council is particularly strengthening its efforts against illegal overweight vehicles, which are the main cause of deterioration of road structures. Furthermore, this time, under the leadership of the Transport Bureau, we will appeal to drivers to prevent wheel falling accidents of large vehicles, whichhavebeenincreasingin recent years. I did. Aiming to realize a society where people can live safely and with peace of mind, we will continue to promote appropriate passage of large vehicles under the slogan, ``Conserve weight, protect roads.''

- このほか、道路運送車両法に基づく不正改造の取締を5箇所で同時に実施し、確認の結果違反した車両はありませんでした。
