Hasuda Service is the exit from the Hasuda Smart Interchange (hereinafter "Smart IC") on the E4 Tohoku Expressway (hereinafter "Tohoku Expressway Expressway"), which Hasuda City and NEXCO EAST Kanto Regional Head Office (Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture) have been developing. It will open at 15:00 on Sunday, April 24, 4th year of Reiwa in the area (In-bound line).
At the same time, the entrance to the Tokyo area, which is currently in operation, will be relocated to the Hasuda service area (In-bound line).
For smart ICs installed in the Hasuda service area (In-bound line), all models equipped with ETC on-board units with a vehicle length of 12 m or less will be able to pass.
In addition, please note that the toll for Hasuda Smart IC (upper and lower lines) will change from 0:00 on Sunday, April 24, 4th year of Reiwa due to this relocation.

6. How to use smart IC

■ Smart IC ETC only This is IC.

  • To use it, insert an ETC card into the ETC on-board unit and pass.
  • Be sure to stop before the opening / closing bar of the smart IC.
  • This smart IC does not have local staff. In case of trouble such as the opening / closing bar not opening, please use the intercom in the lane.

7. 7. Expected maintenance effect

  1. Improving the convenience of citizens' lives
    With the new Hasuda Smart IC (In-bound line) exit, it will be possible to avoid the main local road Saitama Kurihashi Line, which is heavily congested from Kuki IC, and when moving from the Utsunomiya area to the city, take the Hasuda Smart IC (In-bound line) exit. By using it, the required time will be shortened and mobility will be improved.
  2. Promotion of business efficiency of city companies
    The time required for large vehicles from companies located around Hasuda Smart IC to head toward Tokyo will be shortened, and a fixed time system for pick-up and delivery will be secured.

8. Price list between major ICs

■ Due to this relocation, the toll for Hasuda Smart IC (upper and lower lines) will change from 0:00 on Sunday, April 24, 4th year of Reiwa.
