NEXCO EAST Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway At the management office and Kisarazu construction office (Kisarazu City, Chiba), the provisional 2-lane section (1 lane on each side) E14 Tateyama Expressway Kimitsu Interchange (hereinafter "IC") ~ E14 Futtsu-Tateyama Road Due to maintenance and repair work and 4-lane construction between Tomiura IC, night traffic will be closed in the same section.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but we kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation so that you may have some time when you go out.

    Section I

    Implementation date: Monday, October 15, 2018-Friday, October 26, 2018 [Except Saturday and Sunday] Every day from 20:00 to 5 am
    Preliminary day: Monday, October 29, 2018-Friday, November 2, 2018, 20 pm to 5 pm the following day

    Section II

    Implementation date: Monday, October 15, 2018-Tuesday, October 23, 2018 [Except Saturdays and Sundays] Every day from 20:00 to 5 am the next morning
    Preliminary day: October 24, 2018 (Wednesday) to November 2, 2018 (Friday) [Excluding Saturdays and Sundays] 20 o'clock to 5 am the next day

    • Regarding transfer adjustments for Section I from October 24th (Wed) to October 26th (Fri), please refer to "3. Transfer adjustments due to road closures" and Appendix 1 [PDF: 167KB].
    • Tateyama Expressway Kimitsu PA and Futtsu-Tateyama Road Highway Oasis Furakuri (Roadside Station Furakuri Tomiyama) until 19:30.
    • In case of stormy weather, it will be postponed to the spare day.
    • Construction will be decided at 16:00 on the day of construction.


2. Detour

Refer to the figure below for detours.

If you make a detour between Kimitsu IC on the Tateyama Expressway Tomiura IC on the Futtsu-Tateyama Road via Route 127, it will take about 70 minutes (usually about 30 minutes).

Detours will increase the time required, so please take time to go out.

3．通行止めに伴う乗り継ぎ調整について

For customers who exit Expressway due to a road closure, detour around the closed section, then re-enter and transfer in the forward direction, a "transfer adjustment" will be implemented in which the toll will be adjusted according to the section of the expressway used.

How to use transit adjustment

<< ETC customers >>

  • Customers using ETC are requested to run the outflow designated IC wirelessly and the re-inflow designated IC wirelessly. (No transit certificate will be issued for ETC vehicles.)
  • ETC time zone discount will be applied, considering the transited journey as one. Toll charges are adjusted at the time of billing, so they may differ from those displayed at the toll gate.

<< Customers for cash, etc. >>

  • Customers who pay by cash, etc. should receive the "passage certificate" at the outflow designated IC, then collect the "passport" at the re-inflow designated IC, and make the "transfer at the toll booth where the fee is paid first." Please give us your "certificate" and "passport".

Four. Construction overview

Tateyama Expressway / Futtsu-Tateyama Road maintenance work

Always in good condition, such as repairing pavement damage points, repairing road markings, and checking / cleaning / repairing emergency equipment and lighting equipment for consecutive tunnels (number of tunnels: 16 places, total length: approx. 9.2 km) in the section concerned. We will carry out repair work to maintain

To avoid inconvenience to our customers, we will close the roads during the night on weekdays when traffic is light, and will carry out the work intensively and efficiently. Since this work is necessary to use the Expressway safely and comfortably, we ask for your understanding and cooperation.

  • Road maintenance work
    We will improve the running performance and safety by repairing damaged points on the pavement surface and road markings.
