NEXCO EAST Yawara management office (Ibaraki Prefecture Tsukubamirai) is, 2 of lane section (one lane) Ken-o Expressway (Ken-O Road in between) Tsukuba Central Interchange (IC) ~ Kanzaki IC, traffic safety facilities In order to carry out repair work and inspection of road equipment, we will carry out night traffic.
We apologize for the inconvenience to our customers, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation as the construction is necessary to maintain a safe and comfortable environment on the Expressway when you go out.

2 Detour
Ken-O Road Tsukuba Central IC ~ Kanzaki detour of time between is closed to traffic IC is the national highway and prefectural road running parallel. The time between Tsukuba Chuo IC and Kanzaki IC (about 34km) is usually about 30 minutes, but if you use the detour route, the time will be about 60 minutes, so please take time to go. 3 Construction overview
Ken-O Road Tsukuba Central IC and the Kanzaki IC on the Ken-O Expressway, in order to ensure safe and comfortable traffic, we will replace the protective fence damaged by the accident and also inspect various road equipment at the same time.
In order to minimize the impact on our customers when we carry out these constructions, we will close the roads during the nighttime on weekdays when traffic is light, and carry out intensively and efficiently.
We ask for your understanding and cooperation so that our customers can use our products safely and comfortably.
Main work contents
- Road maintenance work
We will improve the runnability and safety by replacing the protective fences damaged by the accident and improving the road markings (lane marks).
- Facility maintenance work
We perform inspections to keep road lighting and ETC machines in good condition at all times.
4 How to obtain traffic information
(1) Closed posters, etc.- We will post construction notice signs, posters, etc. on the surrounding IC and rest facilities.
