1. Construction overview
Joshin-Etsu Expressway runs between Shinshu-Nakano IC and Shinanomachi IC with a temporary 2 lanes (including some 4 car sections) for a total length of 21km. Tunnels occupy about 29% (about 6km) of this section, so that customers can use it safely. Periodic inspection of tunnel emergency equipment and lighting equipment, lamp replacement, repair of damaged road surface and traffic safety equipment.
