We will inform you about the usage status for 3 years after the opening of the first Wattsu Smart Interchange (IC) in Hokkaido, which opened on June 29, 2009.

Usage status of Waatsu smart IC

  • The average daily traffic volume for the three years after the opening was 1,341, which has been used by more than 1.46 million vehicles.
    (Traffic volume is summarized from H21.6.30 to H24.6.24)

The effect of wheel thickness smart IC maintenance

  • We have also heard from the surrounding facilities that the convenience has improved.
  • It is also used for emergency transportation and contributes to the improvement of the regional medical environment.
