NEXCO EAST (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) predicts congestion on Expressway (concentrated traffic congestion of 10km or more) during the Golden Week period [April 26th (Friday) to May 6th (Monday), 2021: 11 days] We will announce.
Holiday discounts are not applicable during Golden Week. We ask for your cooperation in ``distributed use'' to avoid crowded days and times.

Out-bound

  • Traffic jams occur mainly in the morning
  • Be especially careful on May 3rd (Friday) and May 4th (Saturday)!

    Peaking at 8:00 on Friday, May 3rd,
    40km starting near Hanyu PA on Tohoku Expressway
  • Number of traffic jams of 10 km or more: 46 times

  • Be especially careful on May 4th (Saturday) and May 5th (Sunday)!
