About onboard device purchase subsidy campaign 2023

NEXCO EAST (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) aims to promote the spread of ETC by providing a subsidy of up to 10,000 yen per eligible vehicle from the cost of installing on-board equipment, etc. "NEXCO EAST Jurisdictional ETC/ETC 2.0 On-board Equipment Purchase Subsidy" We would like to inform you that "Campaign 2023" will be implemented.

1. Campaign target audience

Those who applied based on the application method at a campaign handling store during the campaign period and purchased, set up, and installed a new ETC or ETC2.0 onboard device.

2. Campaign period

From Friday, October 27, 2023 (Reiwa 5) until the number of subsidized units is reached

• The campaign will run until Thursday, December 28, 2023 (Reiwa 5).
• Purchase, setup, and installation of the onboard device is required during the campaign period.

3． Number of subsidized units

25,000 units

Four. Target area

Hokkaido, Aomori Prefecture, Iwate Prefecture, Miyagi Prefecture, Akita Prefecture, Yamagata Prefecture, Fukushima Prefecture, Niigata Prefecture, Ibaraki Prefecture, Tochigi Prefecture, Gunma Prefecture, Saitama Prefecture, Chiba Prefecture

• Stores handling the campaign will be announced at a later date on the campaign special website.

Five. Grant amount

Up to 10,000 yen/unit (subsidy for onboard equipment, setup, and installation costs)

6. Grant eligibility requirements

• Those who newly install ETC or ETC2.0 onboard equipment are eligible for the subsidy.
• Replacement of ETC on-board equipment is not eligible for subsidy.
• New four-wheeled vehicles are not eligible for the subsidy (vehicles that have been at least three months old since the initial registration date (initial inspection date) at the time of campaign application are eligible for the subsidy).
• New motorcycles are eligible for the subsidy.
• Only in-vehicle devices that comply with the new security standards will be eligible for the subsidy.
• Those who purchase, set up, and install the product at a campaign handling store in the target area will be eligible for the subsidy.
• Applications made after purchase, setup, and installation are not eligible for the subsidy.
• Vehicles that have received subsidies for purchasing other ETC on-board devices are not eligible for subsidies.

7. How to apply

Fill out the application form for the "NEXCO EAST Jurisdictional ETC/ETC2.0 On-board Device Purchase Subsidy Campaign 2023" provided at campaign stores, and then purchase, set up, and install a new on-board device.
